This is so far the biggest painting I’ve painted in recent years. I kept staring at the blank canvas for hours wondering if I will have enough patience and courage to start, and what should I paint. And then we went to Spain for holidays, to Valencia. It’s where I saw for the first time these amazing trees I fell in love with. They were the main inspiration for the painting. Can you imagine what they witnessed?
